Puzzle # 7: XV(-) Sudoku!
Hello again! We're back with another sudoku, and yet another variant; an XV(-) Sudoku! Easier than my last offering but not my easiest puzzle either. I quite like negative constraints when solving sudokus, so I thoroughly enjoyed test solving this XV(-) Sudoku. Note the "-" means negative constraint as defined by the last part of the rules below, and that's the key to solving these puzzles because one must ask the question: "Where does a digit NOT go?"
Rules:
- Apply classic sudoku rules
- Cells separated by an X must sum to 10
- Cells separated by a V must sum to 5
- Cells NOT separated by an X or a V must NOT sum to 10 or 5
Enjoy, and may the cookie crumble in your favour!
CC :)
