Puzzle # 61: Outside German Whispers Sudoku ... with a Killer twist!
G'day! I quite enjoy Outside and German Whispers Sudoku and I went about setting a puzzle earlier today between clinics at work. Oh, that 110 cage? Huh, strange; guess you better read the * SPECIAL KILLER RULES * before tackling this puzzle :)
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Outside rules: Digits outside the grid must appear somewhere in the 1st 3 cells in the corresponding row or column (e.g., in c1, 138 must appear in r123 collectively).
- German whispers rules: Digits on a green line must differ by at least 5.
- Killer rules: Digits in the cage must sum to 110 and MAY REPEAT if allowed by normal sudoku rules. *** EXACTLY TWO digits must appear EXACTLY FOUR TIMES in the cage; all other digits appear less than 4 times. ***
