Puzzles # 72 & 73: Inclusion & Frame Sudokus!
G'day! I recently test-solved a puzzle I set last week and was about to publish it when I came across another puzzle that I set earlier this year which I forgot to test solve. Having just test-solved that puzzle, I am quite happy to give you a double dose of variant sudoku!
I would say that my more recent puzzle - the Inclusion Sudoku - is less tricky than the Frame Sudoku I set a few months ago.
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Inclusion rules: Digits in a circle must appear in 1 of the 2 (edge) or 4 (inner) cells surrounding the circle.
- Frame rules: Clues outside the grid denote the sum of the first 3 digits in the corresponding row or column.
